The Predicted Winner Has Won

Our little blog did predict at least four times in previous postings (see: Election Turnout & Observations...,

From SNL Lampoon to Confused Beauty Queen to Rogue Diva to Laughing Stock?,

Racism: Is the End Near? and
Obama Won the Debate - The Economy is Still a Loser) that Mr. Obama would win the election. Had we known it would be such a resounding victory we should have predicted that, too. It is certain that this victory marks a change in history, even world history. When we heard of his victory last night, we could not help but think, "We're safe." Safe from what? An irresponsible, deregulating Republican administration that will only continue to prolong its illegitimate wars. A GOP adminstration that will seek to drop bombs and start wars with other "problem" middle-eastern and other sovereign nations. A GOP administration that would keep the writ of habeas corpus suspended and continue to hold detainees in Gitmo for seemingly forever? An end in sight to the economic crisis for the world. A friendlier and warmer world welcoming the USA and its new leader-in-chief. A safer and more secure world for us and all.
