Deresourcing or desimonization
Deresourcing or desimonization: In our previous entry, we discussed the portmanteau piraculation (or piraculate). The suggestion was that overpopulation pressures for declining resources (such as fish, and other marine and maritime resources) apparently resulted in the use of piracy by country-states such as Somalia. This appears to be directly contrary to the work of the late Julian Lincoln Simon, The Ultimate Resource.
