For Saturday, October 25, 2008

Did our crummy little blog beat ABC News and the other news outlets on positing the election of Obama and the effects on racism in our October 20, 2008 Posting: Racism: Is the End Near? (http://americanpoliticalhandbook.blogspot.com/2008/10/racism-is-end-near.html) See the ABC News.com posting for today Saturday, October 25, 2008: Obama Rises: Is Racism on the Way Out? (http://abcnews.go.com/US/Vote2008/story?id=6108101&page=1 ). Like we said, no, not quite. For proof of this, read the story about 20-year old caucasian girl: McCain Volunteer in Attack Hoax. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27350530/). Is it just a coincidence that ABC (long time champion against racism and the "cause") picked up on almost the same string of thought? Were we just prescient? Or was it that it just wasn't that much of a stretch? Or is it a right-on prediction for both of us and good news for the rest of the world? We hope its the latter. Meanwhile, the real reason we're here, here are the links.
